New Camera - First Pic!

Recently I bought a new Panasonic DMC Lumix FZ-20. I took it along on our trip to Wayanad this weekend. This photoblog shall now showcase pictures taken (mostly) with my new camera.
I would like to thank my close friend, Jha, for lending me his camera all this while.

This panning picture is the first decent enough panning picture that I took. I was just checking out the panning mode in the new camera and perhaps because of beginner's luck :) this one came out to be good. I didn't pre-focus the lens, so the bike looks a bit out of foucs, but I'm not complaining since the feel of motion is captured nicely.

nice capture! just me or it feels like one of those 70's movies where the background was moving and the people in cars/scooters weren't ;)

Really nice capture. I tried it so many times. Either I missed the subject or it came out as a normal snap :( I think the exposure settings are important to take such snap, which is provided in your camera through that "Panning" mode.
