Hail Postprocessing!

Much to the surprize of many, post-processing is an important area of (digital) photography. The funda is, you won't get the optimum conditions to frame the moment, but the workaround to get the desired results is post-processing. Photoshop is perhaps the most celebrated tool, but GIMP is good too! More over, it is free to download and use. Right, cracks exist to use Photoshop without paying for it, but this is not what I'd do on my office computer. GIMP is not very inferior to PS actually. I have processed this image from the one below using GIMP.

I actually like the results of whatever u have done to the pic...it looks abstract enough without being too unclear of the subject in question...reminds me of a kind of painting we were taught in school....where the canvas was filled with colour using an end of a splayed old paintbrush..
