nice composition. going out of focus was a fortunate incident I would say (makes it different). how did u manage the completely dark background?
 

Varun forgot to add...if you dont already have one, a mini tripod is a really worthwhile investment (will easily fit into your fz20 bag). I got one a few months back, and can't imagine life without it now. Comes in use so very often.
 

Yeah.. the end result isn't all that bad either. Used faster shutter speed in a dark corner.
 

I have one long tripod (Olympus). Wasn't very expensive (Rs.1300) but isn't very handy. My roomie has a smaller tripod too, I don't it all that much. Should keep it in the bag, you never know :)
 

Great idea. I disgree with 'the elderly camel'. Having atleast the lamp sharply in focus would have made the photo super cool!
